MARTINSBURG — Jordan & Hess presented an outdoor spring fashion show in April, which brought out more than 100 guests on a chilly, overcast day. Right around showtime, the sun brightened on the 20 models in their trendy and chic outfits from the Jordan & Hess boutique. From special occasions to everyday wear, the outfits were stylized with hats, bags, jewelry and scarves.
But the real stars of the show were the Boys & Girls Club of the Eastern Panhandle members who modeled in the wedding scene.
Dressed in formal wear from Dana’s Tuxedo’s and Grace Riane Bridals, the young models took direction from fashion show director Candy Reid in their premiere appearance on the runway staged outside on the square in downtown Martinsburg.
“They walked with an air of assurance like pros. But most of all, they were just really sweet, and the audience loved them,” said Reid.
Jordan & Hess owners, Anthony Hess and Mark Jordan, presented a $500 check to the Boys & Club to show their support.
Club executive director Stacie Rohn expressed, “Our children had a wonderful time participating in the fashion show, and it was a great confidence-building opportunity for them. We are grateful for the generosity from Jordan & Hess and the event organizers and look forward to future partnership opportunities.”
The boutique at Jordan & Hess is open Monday through Saturday and is managed by personal consultant, Tina Hissam.
The Jordan & Hess Team is not only passionate about flowers and fashion but also about giving back to the Martinsburg community.
