GLENDALE, AZ – The United States Women’s National Team continued its winning run in the SheBelieves Cup with a 2-1 triumph over Australia.
An opening-minute strike from Lynn Biyendolo and a 68th-minute goal from Michelle Cooper were enough for the Americans, despite Australia getting a goal back through Michelle Heyman late in the contest.
The USWNT will now face Japan on Wednesday night in the final game of the Cup, which will also determine who lifts the trophy as Japan has also won twice in its opening two games.
